What Is fit-flavors?

At fit-flavors, we make and prepare healthy meals to go and our mission is to be your first choice in healthy eating! Founded by personal trainer and chef Jillian Tedesco out of her home in 2009, we have three storefronts in the St. Louis area--Chesterfield (2013), Brentwood (2015), and Creve Coeur (2016). The culture and atmosphere at fit-flavors is one a of close knit family. We prioritize customer service, a growth mindset, gratitude, and involvement in our local community through education and charity. Customers can shop at the retail locations just as they would grocery shop; there is no need to order in advance, follow a meal plan, or purchase a minimum amount of meals. Our meals are made from scratch seven days each week and are sold fresh, not frozen, in the stores. We have all menu items available for purchase in the stores, giving customers over 50 options each time they shop. The meals are made with top quality ingredients including: no additives or preservatives, local, grass fed to finish beef, wild caught or sustainably raised seafood, happy pork, and free range eggs. All of our proteins are hormone and antibiotic free and we source locally whenever possible. In our snacks, we substitute everyday favorites with healthy alternatives; we don't use any butter or process/refined flours or sugars, and instead utilize a high quality whey protein powder (1st Phorm Level-1), healthy fats (natural peanut butter, coconut oil), and natural sugars (honey, agave, stevia). The meals are also portion controlled. We offer a small portion (3-4oz protein/starch, 3oz vegetable) and a regular portion (5-6 oz protein/starch, 3oz vegetable) to accommodate for various lifestyles and goals. On the side of each container we provide the nutrition facts for the meal, ingredient list, microwave instructions (our containers are BPA free), allergy information, price, and expiration date (5 days).
