Soon after his graduation from University of Waterloo with a Master’s of Computer Science degree in Wireless Computing and Bachelor’s of Mathematics degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Kenny Fok began working at Qualcomm, where he served as the Director of Engineering. While there, Kenny gained a wealth of knowledge in the software, engineering, and manufacturing fields, and developed a passion for the growing field of IOT. Kenny soon noticed a sudden influx of companies in need of IOT services, which inspired Kenny to strike out on his own. Kenny soon founded eSmart Tech Inc. in 2015 in San Diego, California. Since the company’s inception, Kenny has led his team in a number of directions to best cater to his clients’ needs including 3D printing, software engineering, cloud computing, IOT device and product design, manufacturing, and embedded system modelling. Today, Kenny and his passionate, hardworking, and creative eSmart Tech Inc. team pride themselves on helping their clients, some of the most well-known companies in the world, with all of their technological and manufacturing needs. This world class team, with a combined 44 granted and 10+ pending US Patents, is constantly devising innovative ideas that bring simplicity to the digital world. Created and Manufactured a hardware cryptocurrency wallet, FLX One, for FLX Partnership Developed a new medical test kit process, MedIQ, for a San Diego based medical start up company. Produced AirQ, a portable device that allows users to detect various air quality metrics, such as CO2, PM2.5, and VOX.
