Zast is a digital mid mile surface movement platform; outperforming the existing service standards in highly fragmented industry by standardising services and introducing automation in workflows. The operations of the company were started in May 2016 to provide quality service to time sensitive cargo for sectors such as Ecommerce, Courier, Pharma and Retail. We believe the truck transportation industry in India is fundamentally inefficient and needs to pivot its operating model to keep up with the requirements of end customers. Current trucking industry has all possible inefficiencies which results in unreliable services, absence of fleet management controls, lack of checks on driver behavior, limited adherence with the customer agreed procedures and complete absence of smart technology.
