Zahroof Valves Inc. (ZVI) is a Delaware C-Corp, incorporated in 11/2010, with its HQ in Houston, TX. ZVI manufactures and markets an innovative valve the StraightFlo valve for reciprocating gas compressors that has patents issued in over 30 countries world-wide. The valve, replacement for conventional valves, consists of standard modules or cartridges held stationary between a valve seat and carrier. All wear elements are within the modules, therefore, simply change out the modules to refurbish the valve. No machining required. 6 - 8 modules cover the entire compressor application, from 300 rpm to 3600 rpm, -40 to 550 F and all gases from sweet gas to acid gas. The modular design makes servicing the valves simple and minimizes inventory - reducing downtime, labor and operating cost. The modules are designed so that the gas flows straight through the valves without any changes in direction or incurring mixing losses. This makes the valves much more efficient than conventional valves, reducing compressor power and emissions. The design also makes the valve very tolerant to liquids and solids in the gas stream making it highly reliable, minimizing down time. Applications include: Natural gas (production, gathering, transmission, storage, CNG, LNG), CO2 (EOR, CSS), Petrochemicals, Process, multi-phase, Air, H2S, ammonia, technical gases, etc. The valves are highly tolerant to liquid and gas in the gas stream and is therefore exceptional in gas production, conventional or shale gas. Using these valves in a compressor: Reduces power consumption by 5 - 20%, reducing emissions at the same time. Multiplies the service interval by a factor of 2 to 5, minimizing compressor downtime. Simplifies service by eliminating all machining, skilled labor and special tools. Full service takes 5-10 minutes/valve onsite compared to days off-site for conventional valves.
