YSU provides open access to a high-quality and affordable education. We offer a broad range of associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degrees and certificate programs. Many of our academic programs are nationally recognized and accredited. Our students graduate ready for their professional careers, as evidenced in part by a very high passage rate on national certification exams. Additionally, our graduates were either employed or continuing their education at a rate higher than the state average for main campuses in Ohio. The cost of attending YSU is a relative bargain: we have worked hard to keep costs down and continue to have the lowest tuition among Ohio's comprehensive public universities. Additionally, financial aid packages available to YSU students are among the most generous.
