YMCA Camp Ernst Revenue and Competitors

YMCA Camp Ernst is one of the most popular residential camps in the region. In addition to welcoming youth from all over the world each summer we also host year-round ranch programming, Women’s Wellness Weekend, and family camp weekends. YMCA Camp Ernst hosts campers who enjoy top notch counselors and make new friends. Campers are given opportunities to participate in a wide range of outdoor recreation activities including a ropes course, biking, boating, hiking, and horseback riding. There are special designated times for them to partake in fine arts and science modules so that they can pursue and further their interest in these areas. Youth also have the opportunity to learn the importance of our natural environment during programming designed around the stewardship of Gun Powder Creek which runs through the heart of Camp. Their entire day revolves around building skills through outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, art, and science. Hitting the target at the archery range can be a metaphor for setting one’s mind to achieve new goals. Jumping off the zip-line platform can represent going on a new adventure into the unknown. Kayaking with new friends on the 27-acre spring-fed lake can build confidence. And time spent on horseback can mean honing communication skills with other riders.
