Writer editor and web publisher. Revenue and Competitors

I am now part of the infamous Ares Diaspora, which flowed out from Marshall Space Flight Center this past summer with the Constellation layoffs/RIFs. Life is what you make it though and this has been a new adventure for sure. I have gone back to freelance writing, editing, and web publishing, which I did for years and never really stopped. Things are different now, but I have no complaints. Instead of writing about rockets and propulsion for the Ares First Stage Team and Ares Outreach, when I write about rockets it is as a reporter. I do a couple columns for Examiner.com. I still publish my self-help and holistic wellness website: MagicStream.org. And, I am still about as busy as I can be editing freelance along the way. I am definitely open for business though, you need help? I'm here and not adverse to a regular job, although as time goes on, I am really enjoying the flow of being self-employed again. That given, if you need help for a day or two, let me know. I am flexible these days, learning new things, doing new things, going out as a reporter, covering new stories, writing new things, editing new things, meeting new people, and I love it all. I have also taken a board position with the Huntsville Space Professionals, HSP, and been doing some writing and other for them along the way. For example, to try to help get the local aerospace folks back to work, we pulled together a career fair on pretty short notice after the initial round of Ares layoffs. By all accounts, that was a success.
