Workforce Connections, a Department of Labor Workforce Development Board. We’re just like you. We live here, we work here, we raise our children here…and we want Southern Nevada to be the very best it can be. We are a group of elected and highly motivated individuals whose mission is to get Southern Nevada’s workforce back on its feet through partnering with a wide array of employers and agencies dedicated to investing in the future of our communities. We serve the cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City, and the counties of Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda. Our Vision is that all Southern Nevadans have the tools to succeed in the workplace. Our mission is to connect employers to a ready workforce!. To meet these goals, Workforce Connections distributes funds earmarked for training, apprenticeships and other viable approaches designed to couple the right workers with the right employers. Rather than finding employment for job seekers, we work with relevant agencies and organizations to connect those looking for a job with the best resources available so that they can make a difference in their own lives
