Windermere Preparatory School is a community school with a global vision. Our students are nurtured intellectually, emotionally, and socially to prepare them for the ever-changing challenges of tomorrow. Windermere Prep serves students from PreK-3 to Grade 12, plus boarding for Grades 7-12. Our students are inspired to research, develop, and debate solutions to society's biggest challenges. \n\nAs part of the Nord Anglia Education Schools, Windermere Prep collaborates with world-leading organizations and experts to create innovative programs that enhance our outstanding curricula so that our students learn from the best. As the only private school in Central Florida who offers an IB Diploma & Certificate Programme, we strive for our students to become critical thinkers to prepare them for their future. Our multidisciplinary STEAM curricula is designed through our collaboration with MIT. Our Fine Arts program is infused through our collaboration with The Juilliard School offered at all ages. Our students are involved in community service through UNICEF initiatives, Tanzania project, beach cleanups, and more. \n\nWindermere Prep believes in the whole child and offers an assortment of extra-curricular activities such as clubs, fine arts, and athletics in our state of the art facilities on our 48-acre campus. Windermere Prep athletics has over 61 teams in 20 different sports, with 84% of students in Grade 6-12 participating with a 3.48 weighted GPA average of student-athletes. Our Fine Arts program consists of over 100 events a year in our state of the art facility, the Cypress Center. These events include theatre, visual arts, dance, music, with IB Diploma options in Fine Arts.
