What Is Westlake City Schools?

We Educate for Excellence. \r\n\r\nIt's a mission the Westlake City School District takes seriously and strives to promote to our more than 4,000 students and about 600 staff members. The district consists of three K-4 elementary schools, a PK-4 elementary school, an intermediate school for grades 5 and 6, a 7-8 middle school and our high school.\r\n \r\nThe Westlake Schools, located at the western edge of Cuyahoga County, consistently earn the top "Excellent" rating on the state report card, placing us in the top 4% of districts statewide by providing students a foundation in the basic skills, while offering programs and courses that encourage individual academic success.\r\n \r\nOur program is driven by a Continuous Improvement Plan that guides the district in every aspect of its performance. We also enjoy strong support from our parents and community.
