What Is West-Side Connection?

West-Side Connection is Wausau West High School’s school-based enterprise. West-Side Connection serves as the marketing lab, an extension of the marketing classroom. West-Side Connection carries a wide variety of food & beverages, spirit wear clothing and accessories, and school supplies to students, teachers and faculty, and members of the community. West-Side Connection is operated and managed by students who are enrolled in Marketing Education classes (Marketing IA, Marketing IB, Marketing IC, Marketing II, and Marketing Internship). Students who are enrolled in marketing classes learn the marketing concepts in the classroom and gain “hands-on experience” in the school store. West-Side Connection is open on school days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Visitors will have to enter door #1 at the main office and sign in and get a visitors pass to shop at the store.
