Indeed, our collaborative approach very much begins from within.\n\nWe have over 50 years of experience in construction, founded in 1964 in north London, we have grown from what was originally a paving contractor working with local authorities, to what it is today – a multi-disciplined\nconstruction and civil engineering firm working across the South East.\n\nWith a staff complement of 250 and an annual turnover of more than £42 million, Walker Construction is active across the built environment. Clients are wide-ranging, with projects undertaken in rail and infrastructure; for local authority water and highways departments; for the Ministry of Defence; for healthcare and education clients; and for housing and commercial property developers.\n\nBased in Ashford, our geographical presence in strengthened by our satellite offices in Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Folkestone. It is formed of three operating divisions: rail, construction and building. \n\nOn the building side, Walker Construction has gained a solid reputation across a range of sectors: educational, healthcare, community facilities, industrial, retail and refurbishment projects.
