The rescue helicopter called to help his friend was forced to leave after they were unable to lower a rescue basket because of the basket's uncontrolled pendulum swing. This swinging can vary as much as 25 degrees from vertical depending on wind & the helicopter itself. Vita Inclinata proposes a solution: The Load Stability System (LSS); a universal, fully automated stability system that can be adopted across multiple industries. Utilizing drone-like technology and the sensor suite of the predator drone, our LSS platform can reduce the cable swing by 25 degrees in under 3 seconds. The technology is attached 5 feet above the load, as the system leaves the helicopter and begins to lower, the internal sensors gather data and engages the fans, keeping the load centered beneath the helicopter. The LSS-HR (Hoist Rescue) is designed for hoisting operations. This current system can control up to 1,000 lbs. Each EDF produces 35 lbs. of thrust, enabling us to stabilize your hoisting mission. The LSS-SL (Sling Load) is designed for sling load operations. This system will be modular and able to control up to 10,000 lbs. The EDF's on this system can put out 60 lbs. of thrust each. The LSS-SL's body is made of carbon fiber to increase resiliency. With our technology, 25 degrees will no longer be the difference between life and death.
