Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, founded in 1953, is focused on preparing our students for success in an increasingly competitive legal market. Guided by our ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￅﾓWhere Law Meets Businessￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￂﾝ philosophy, we reimagined our legal education to prepare our students with the academic, professional, and practical skills coveted by employers. Our students have the opportunity to get hands-on experience tailored to career interests through six in-house clinics and 200+ externship opportunities. At Villanova Law, you will find a community of scholars searching for truth in open discussion, committed to ethical principles, and dedicated to social justice. Villanova Law offers a rigorous and innovative curriculum. In addition to the traditional JD program, we also boast several dual degree programs including the JD/LL.M. in International Studies, JD/MBA, JD/MPA and JD/LL.M. in Taxation. With over 40 student organizations, Villanova Law students are campus and community leaders, organizing scholarly lectures, multicultural programs, and public service opportunities. Our faculty is composed of internationally-renowned scholars, dedicated educators and successful practitioners. After graduation, students join nearly 11,000 alumni as part of the Villanova Law Alumni Association.
