What Is Verification Department?
Verification Department, Inc. was created for one purpose: to meet the changing verification needs of lenders in the new real estate market. VDI originated from its sister company, The Post Closing Department, which has been a leader in real estate data and reconveyance services since 2001. Using those resources, VDI initially launched with just three services: VestingCerts™ (vesting and legal reports), OccuCerts™ (occupancy certification reports), and onsite inspections. Since then, VDI has combined several of the nation’s largest real estate databases into one comprehensive source, the VDI website. Using our proprietary software, VDI now offers instant access to reports and data on several millions of properties across all 50 states. With over twenty verification products, VDI has become the national leader for real estate data and inspection services.
