What Is VANTAGE Aging?

VANTAGE Aging (formerly Mature Services) promotes successful aging by providing the highest quality programs and services to support, strengthen, and empower adults as they age. It took the Baby Boom Generation to make mature workers a hot topic, but some organizations have focused on this employment niche for decades. VANTAGE Aging is one such agency. Founded originally as a senior employment program in Akron, Ohio, it has since become an independent, nationally-respected organization that operates the Senior Community Service Employment Program or SCSEP, across the state. The agency also offers the following programs: Behavioral Health Solutions: treatment for mental health and alcohol and/or other drug addictions, specializing in older adults. Meals on Wheels of Northern Ohio: home-delivered meals for homebound and disabled adults and congregate dining. Home Wellness Solutions: helping people remain independent in their own homes through chores, cleaning, personal care, and meal preparation. RSVP: offering volunteer opportunities in Summit and Medina Counties for a variety of nonprofit agencies.
