What Is UroGPO?
UroGPO is the first and only urology-specific Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) in the country, comprised of more than 600 of the largest, most progressive independent urology practices in the country. The membership now includes more than 5,750 urology providers, including 3,400 practicing urologists in 2,600 Clinical locations spanning 49 states. UroGPO is committed to helping urology groups remain independent by providing them with pre-negotiated purchasing contracts, development of new revenue streams such as In Office Dispensing of Oral therapeutics, Clinical Guideline Development, and other resources in all areas of urology. Goals of the UroGPO consortium are to build stronger patient relationships by improving patient care, make significant positive impacts on in-practice operational efficiencies and streamline operational costs. Along with the benefits provided to UroGPO member practices, UroGPO works with industry manufacturer partners in ensuring successful product launches. By working with our industry partners, UroGPO has developed a series of educational programs for its members that offer clinical depth, as well as practical, operational, and financial insights in order to keep the membership informed and ahead of the curve.
