Urban Yoga Foundation The Urban Yoga Foundation educates and empowers communities to be proactive about issues affecting their health. Through yoga and related holistic approaches UYF programs help individuals manage stress, develop mind-body awareness, and health consciousness. The Foundation House The Foundation House is a semi-private holistic creative arts center. Our values are based in the true meaning of yoga: to unite. Our mission is to unify this community by using yoga as a foundation of healthy lifestyle choices, academic endeavors and creative expression. The Foundation House will offer participants the freedom and the instruction to practice yoga and to use holistic health as a vehicle of strength for our community. Our center will become an international hub for conscience healthy living through yoga, arts, and culture. We are dedicated to the people – and the spirit - of Harlem. The Foundation House will offer monthly lectures and hold classes on nutrition and wellness. This community-based program will be open to individuals and corporate organizations. The Foundation House offers the community a subsidized pricing system. We charge a nominal fee to help cover our expenses. Donations are appreciated to help keep programs ongoing. The Speak Easy Media Foundation Sponsors and conducts scholastic and educational events which foster and promote educational advancement of youth and media worldwide.
