Our Mission: To partner with families and communities to break the cycle of social, material, and spiritual poverty. Our Vision: healthy families and healthy neighborhoods, with high performing schools, social and economic stability, and an ethnically and culturally diverse community where people are reconciled to God, self, and others. Our Approach: We believe individual and community transformation requires a relational and holistic approach. Therefore, we engage neighbors and meet needs in our community, which provide pathways to develop authentic relationships. We work in five Program Areas: • Education • Youth development • Family engagement • Health • Economic development In delivering our programs, we operate through two models: • Community Development Hubs: Program hubs located at churches and focus on children, youth, and engaging their families. • Community Development Initiatives: Initiatives address systemic issues of poverty and provide opportunity for the broader community to engage in community development together.
