United Welsh is an award-winning housing association employing 265 people in South Wales. With more than 5,000 properties and as a leading developer of homes, including for people with a range of support needs, we create vibrant and sustainable communities. But we are more than just a landlord. We have a strong sense of social purpose and thrive on doing things differently. Our innovative tenant engagement programme Together - gives people chances to volunteer, prepare for work or gain valuable training opportunities. Our unique wholly-owned subsidiary Celtic Horizons, a partnership with Mears Group and the first Welsh asset management agreement of its kind, won the UK Housing Award 2015 for Maintaining High Quality Homes. We work closely with partners including local and national government and deliver services such as wellbeing programmes for the NHS. We have also built libraries, health and community centres. We hold IIP Gold and are the first Welsh housing association to gain the Institute of Customer Service's ServiceMark.
