We see it all the time in our customers…family businesses that are carried on to third and fourth generations.During high school, working lumber with his dad was a way for Chad Epperson to make some extra cash. But his experience grew to name him the king of the ‘saw & stack’ process on the reman side. After living in Texas with the ARMY, Chad returned to Alabama and the lumber business in 1990 to manage the sales and operations for a local company that branched off to develop United Treating & Distribution, LLC, in 2006. During that first year, UTD grew to a team of 14 employees with more than 100 customers.
