Under Canvas® began when Sarah's love affair with the African safari experience married Jacob's talent for design. Together they decided to create a glamping company that would serve as a bridge to the outdoors in a very unique way. The Under Canvas® brand was founded in 2009 with the opening of Sage Safaris, an all-inclusive Montana safari experience. Under Canvas® luxury camping experiences were established when we opened our first glamping resort just outside of Yellowstone National Park. In the years since, Jacob's unique luxury canvas and wood tent and tipi designs began to travel further and further from their Montana home taking on events across the country and into Canada. Our team is willing to take on mission impossible for weddings, corporate events, parties, brand experiences and boutique tented hotels all over North America.
