Uncle Bill’s Pet Center is an ethical, humane source for a wide variety of pets and pet supplies. We are the premier pet store in the Indiana area, with locations on the east, northeast, and west sides of Indianapolis, as well as in Fishers, Greenwood, and Ft. Wayne. In 1985, Robert Wilson opened a pet store and named it after his beloved uncle. Decades later, we are still family owned and deeply rooted in the central Indiana community. Lots of our customers grew up enjoying visits to our pet store, looking for puppies or kittens or a new fish for the aquarium, or just to enjoy the relaxed family atmosphere of the Indianapolis area’s favorite pet store. Today, we still foster that family feeling in each of our locations. We love to build relationships with our customers and strive to make each of our stores a happy and uplifting place to visit. Uncle Bill’s Pet Center is deeply committed to humane and ethical animal breeding and care. Our pet store offers a trustworthy alternative to questionable animal sources—our pets come from regulated, inspected sources that we hold to the highest standard of care and treatment. Some of the animals we offer in our pet stores also come from our rescue and rehoming programs, which we put in place to ensure that pets are not left abandoned or improperly cared for. At Uncle Bill’s we also care about the quality of life our animals have once they are adopted. To ensure that our animals are well cared for throughout their lives, we seek to educate our pet store customers about animal care and training, increasing their probability of success and enjoyment as pet owners. We believe that pet ownership is a serious responsibility, but also a lot of fun! Our goal and desire is for all of our customers to be matched with pets that fit their personalities, situations and needs, and to help them enjoy wonderful relationships with each of their pets.
