UP Education Network is a nonprofit school management organization whose mission is to rapidly transform chronically underperforming district schools into extraordinary schools that sustain high achievement over time. UP is one of the few organizations in the country successfully tackling the challenges of in-district school turnaround.\n\nWe currently serve more than 2,500 elementary and middle school students across five UP Academies in Boston and Lawrence, Massachusetts. To date, our students have demonstrated nationally unprecedented gains in academic growth.\n\nUP Education Network was named the 2013 U.S. Education Reform Organization of the Year by NewSchools Venture Fund.
