The UConn Health Center offers an impressive range of clinical services by more than 350 physicians in over 50 specialties on an outpatient basis and on an inpatient basis at John Dempsey Hospital. And because the Health Center is home to the UConn School of Medicine, the School of Dental Medicine and a strong biosciences research program, our patients receive the advantages of the latest innovations in health care and have access to clinical trials and studies testing new treatments. In April 2005 and again in May 2006, John Dempsey Hospital was named a "Top 100 Hospitalsr: Performance Improvement Leader." The award was based on statistical analysis of validated measures and a comparison of rates of improvement over five years. The "Top 100" designation was conferred by Solucient, a health care information and data analysis software company. Our location in suburban Farmington, Connecticut, just off Interstate 84 and Route 9, ensures convenient access and ample free parking. We also provide primary care and a variety of other services at UConn Health Partners offices in East Hartford, West Hartford and Simsbury.
