VM is one of the five largest zinc producers in the world, the largest primary aluminum producer in Brazil and a leader in nickel electrolyte production in Latin America. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, U.S. Zinc produces zinc dust, zinc oxide, and zinc metal, including prime western (PW) grade zinc metal and continuous galvanizing grade (CGG) zinc metal. U.S. Zinc manufacturers zinc oxide from high grade (HG) and special high grade (SHG) zinc metal as well as from zinc secondaries. With plants in Brazil, China, and the United States, we are the largest producer of zinc oxide in the world.
