Established in 1946 by Sir William Tyree, Tyree Transformers is a member company of the Tyree Group whose primary purpose is to support the philanthropic work of the Tyree Foundation. \n\nTyree Transformers is proudly an Australian & New Zealand based designer & manufacturer of distribution & power transformers, substations and switchboards supplying and servicing our products throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and the SE Asian region. \n\nWe design, manufacture, test, install, overhaul and service a comprehensive range of transformers sized from 2kVA pole mount designs to 80MVA power units in voltage classes up to 145kV. \n\nTyree also manufactures an expansive range of kiosk and pad mount substations incorporating both MV switchgear & LV switchboards for industries sectors including utilities, power generation, mineral processing, mining, rail transport, defense, heavy industry and infrastructure. \n\nOur product range also includes inverter transformers and substations for Battery Energy Storage BESS, Hydrogen production and renewable generation including grid scale Solar PV and Wind Farms which are critical components of the energy transition to net zero.
