Our first project in Kansas City dates back to 1944, with the construction of the Pratt & Whitney Plant. After successfully completing several projects in the Kansas City area, including Menorah Medical Center and Marion Laboratories for Ewing and Muriel Kauffman, Turner opened a local office to continue providing quality construction services to clients throughout Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. Since then, Turner has grown to be one of the area?s largest and most successful construction companies. We have had the privilege of leading some of the region?s most exciting construction projects, and have been honored with numerous industry awards including the Association of General Contractors Build America Award and the Builders? Association Safety Excellence Award, as well as being named one of Kansas City?s Best Places to Work by the Kansas City Business Journal, and one of the area?s Top General Contractors by Ingram?s Magazine. Our employees volunteer for organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Cristo Rey, and participate in other volunteer efforts from mentoring local students to leading food drives.
