Troy Container Line was founded in 1984 by Michael Troy as Troy Catucci Line, in partnership with the Catucci family, well known warehouse and stevedore operators, respected for quality and financial integrity. The line's first traffic was primarily LCL shipments to Asia, an area Michael Troy was closely familiar with. The company gradually expanded, adding LCL service to Europe a few years later, and moved our first full containers in 1989. Mr. Troy bought out his partners in 1997 and continued to expand, adding service to every continent. Today Troy Container Line serves more than 500 ports worldwide, and the number is constantly growing. A source of company pride and a measure of our financial strength is the fact that all buildings housing our corporate and branch offices are fully owned by the firm. More importantly, to provide the highest level of customer service, Troy Container Line hires the best people and makes sure they have the most effective tools possible, making a large annual investment in the latest computer hardware, updated software and other operating facilities.
