TradeWinds was founded in 1988 and started in a single warehouse in southern Louisiana. Within 5 years, practically every warehouse and mill in the state was using our software solutions! In the 1990s, Tradewinds spread out to other markets for government and non-profit accounting, providing the entire state of Louisiana and the United Way with client tracking software with pledge tracking software in 27 states. In the 2000s, TradeWinds again focused on the rice industry. We quickly began to serve large rice mills in the Sacramento Valley of California along with large exporters.
