What Is Topson Downs of California?

Founded January 25, 1971, Topson Downs has over 40 years in the fashion apparel industry. We started in the downtown Los Angeles fashion scene, with all operations in one small building. Gradually, Topson expanded into manufacturing worldwide. In the late seventies, Topson Downs expanded into Mexico. As a pioneer in outsourced shipping, Topson started a trend that has become mainstream in the garment industry. The past decade has been a major expansion era for Topson Downs. In 1998, we expanded into China and eventually opened a China design room. Starting with junior apparel, we've gradually expanded our product line to include all categories of women's apparel. Since we started, the apparel industry has evolved drastically. Topson Downs was ahead of the curve and began focusing on accommodating the mass-market retailers and specialty stores. Through building these relationships, Topson Downs has become a reliable supplier for quick response manufacturing. In the past five years, The Topson Downs Group has shipped over 100 million units. In addition to designing our own private brands and partnering with national retailers, Topson Downs is also affiliated with Rachel Roy International. Rachel Roy launched her eponymous luxury brand in spring of 2004. The debut collection featured a modern assortment of chic, ready-to-wear staples. Pieces such as the classic trench, perfect blouse and easy, day-to-night dresses were touchstones of a vision Ms. Roy built upon season after season. In 2009 Ms. Roy launched contemporary line RACHEL Rachel Roy in an exclusive partnership with the Impulse Division of Macy's, which features apparel, shoes and jewelry that embody the same effortless point-of-view as her namesake line.
