What Is Tinley Park Convention Center?
At the Pinnacle of Innovation and Service the 120,000-square foot Tinley Park Convention Center, located just 30 miles south of downtown Chicago, is one of the Midwest's premier meeting and convention destinations. The expanded Convention Center, which opened in 2011, has 70,000 square feet of event space (58,000 contiguous) and up to 35 foot ceiling heights. The column-free, fully carpeted exhibit halls have multi-level lighting, acoustical control and sound systems, and can accommodate any type of event from theatrical and sporting to trade and consumer shows. Complimentary parking and wi-fi is available for all guests. The Convention Center comfortably supports over 370 8'x10' exhibit booths and up to 21 breakout rooms of various sized capacities. Exhibitors will appreciate multi-voltage electrical drops and water connections, multiple docks and loading bays, fork-lifts, high lifts, technical support, drayage and an on-site business center. The modern and flexible space is also the perfect setting for banquets, dances, receptions and celebrations. The stylish rooms, many with floor to ceiling windows, can be transformed into a romantic, festive or sophisticated atmosphere for your special event. Our award-winning culinary team will be happy to prepare menus your guests will rave about. Connected to the Holiday Inn Tinley Park, there are 202 guest rooms on-site, including 10 suites, with another 600 hotel rooms nearby. The deluxe Holiday Inn guestrooms are all comfortably appointed and include a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. After a day of meetings, rejuvenate in the indoor pool and spa area, or get in a workout next door at LA Fitness, an amenity for our hotel guests. Bananas Grille & Bar, located inside the hotel, is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining.
