What Is Theraplay Family of Companies?
Theraplay, Inc. is a provider of pediatric therapy services, including occupational, physical, and speech therapies, feeding and concussion rehabilitation programs, contract services, early intervention and Special Instruction. Children learn and develop best through play experiences; therefore, Theraplay provides all therapy services in a play environment. This philosophy helps children develop to their fullest potential. Family members are encouraged to participate in therapy sessions to make them active facilitators in their child's rehabilitation. Home programs are developed with family members to ensure the program's success in each unique family environment. Theraplay's staff consists of highly skilled, pediatric experienced and licensed physical, occupational, and speech/language therapists, and special educators. Every child is evaluated to identify their needs, and an individualized therapy program developed specific to that child. Theraplay added Austill's Educational Therapy Services, in Chester County, PA, to their family of companies in 2016, and brought Positive Steps Therapy and AOT, Inc., based in western Pennsylvania, and the Children's Therapy Center, located in Virginia, into the family in 2017. Theraplay is looking forward to continuing to grow their geographic reach, furthering their mission to maximize each child's potential through functional play-based therapies.
