The Women's Resource Revenue and Competitors

The Women's Resource helps women and girls make choices towards becoming independent, productive, and financially stable. We are one of the leading providers of free financial education in the Houston area and the only with a focus on women and girls.\n\nWe offer free and unbiased personal finance classes to low income women and girls through our partnerships with social service agencies, including shelters, transitional housing, job readiness programs, schools, and the Harris County Jail. \n\nWe also facilitate our research based program for at-risk high school girls. RISE! (Road to Independence, Success and Empowerment) is offered during the school day through schools in Houston ISD and Spring Branch ISD and charter schools within those districts. Girls learn ethics, values, goal setting, career opportunities and college preparation.
