The Tax Institute is Australia's leading organisation committed to the development of the Tax profession through high quality membership and education. Focusing solely on tax, the Institute is a not-for-profit association that provides the best resources, education and networks for those working in tax law or tax accounting. Our mission is to educate and build expertise in tax and to raise the status of the tax profession. The Tax Institute provides continuing professional development (CPD) for tax professionals, and every year runs over 300 education events and seminars across the country. It also produces an extensive range of information products, such as tax specific publications, journals, and an extensive online knowledge base. The Tax Institute's members are represented through its Tax Policy and Research department, which advocates for a better tax system at Federal and State levels.
