What Is The Swag?
Welcome to The Swag! Nestled among eighteen peaks over 6,000 feet and next door to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, The Swag is an award-winning Hotel on a stunning two hundred fifty acres. Located in Waynesville, thirty miles west of Asheville, North Carolina, The Swag operates from mid-April through November The old split rail fence marking the boundary of Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a few yards from the Swag Lodge entrance, and well marked hiking trails abound both in the Park and throughout The Swag property. For over thirty years we have developed and enhanced our fourteen luxury guest rooms with wood-burning fire places, steam showers, balconies, and outdoor tubs. Exceptional dining is also proud tradition at the Swag beginning with hors d’oeuvres and leading up to our chef’s four-course dinner.
