What Is The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival at DeSale?

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University was founded in 1992 as the professional outgrowth of the Performing and Fine Arts Department and as an independent not-for-profit corporation. As Festival Host, DeSales University provides significant in-kind support through use of its state-of-the-art theatre facilities, administrative offices and campus housing. PSF and DeSales Theatre also share several key administrative and staff positions. PSF provides educational enhancement, training and internship opportunities to students in the DeSales Theatre program. Professional artists on the DSU Theatre faculty and staff join with leading professionals from across the country each season to form the annual PSF company of artists.
