The Little Bit Foundation Revenue and Competitors

The Little Bit Foundation (Little Bit) was born in 2001 out of a small request from an inner-city teacher and has grown into an organization serving over 11,000 elementary and middle school students in 37 St. Louis area schools. Ninety to 100 percent of the students in Little Bit schools are at or near the poverty level. Our mission is to break down barriers to learning for students living in poverty through partnerships and programs that serve the needs of the whole child. Our aim is to empower students to achieve their academic goals and dreams for the future, while leaving an imprint of love and hope on young lives for whom a little bit means a lot. Our 200+ volunteers develop strong partnerships with sponsored schools to offer consistent, empowering hope to children in need. Our presence in the schools, working one-on-one with each child, combined with providing necessities such as clothing, shoes and coats, ensures each child's personal dignity and has the power to change lives.
