The Joinery designs and handcrafts beautiful hardwood furniture for residential and commercial spaces. Using traditional woodworking techniques and hardwoods from sustainable forest resources, each piece of Joinery furniture is wholly built, and proudly signed, by an individual builder in our Portland, Oregon woodshop. All of our residential furniture is warranted for a lifetime of real-world use. Our styles range from traditional to modern, and all of our pieces are handcrafted and hand finished. With over 150 pieces in our current standard line, and an in-house design team to help create custom furniture, there are limitless possibilities for the piece that is perfectly tailored to meet individual needs. From our lumber sourcing, to renewable energy use, to elimination of waste, we are committed to maximizing environmental performance. The Joinery has been a Certified B CorporationTM since 2010. We are proud to make B Corp’s “Best for the Environment List” for the last three years, as well as to be named to Oregon Business magazine’s “100 Best Green Companies” list in 2015.
