The Institute of Human Performance (IHP) is the world’s premier functional training facility, and fitness professionals from all over the world come to IHP to learn the latest training methods from Juan Carlos “JC” Santana and the IHP staff. Santana is the owner and director of IHP and has been acknowledged as one of the world’s leading authorities on training and performance. Men’s Journal voted JC as one of the top 100 personal trainers in the United States, and Men’s Health voted IHP as one of the top 20 facilities in the country. The IHP staff is one of the country’s most qualified teams of fitness professionals. Members of the IHP team are published authors, national presenters, DVD producers, and specialists in various fitness disciplines. The education of the IHP staff is also top notch; all IHP fitness professionals have college degrees and the highest levels of certification in the fitness industry. Many of the IHP trainers also have specialty certifications. Santana designed IHP to be a philanthropic gym deeply rooted in the local as well as the professional community.
