What Is The Homestead - America's Freshwater Resort?
AMERICA'S FRESHWATER RESORT - surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Along with our unmatched natural setting with miles of frontage on Lake Michigan and the Crystal River, we offer four hotels nestled in the woods or perched on bluffs with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. We are a four-season resort with sandy beaches, golf, tennis, four swimming pools, fitness center, fine and casual dining, and a luxurious spa. In the winter we offer downhill skiing and snowboarding as well as cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating. We have several spectacular wedding sites on the beach, riverside, top of a mountain bluff, and near the woods. Our reception facilities are rustic yet elegant and can accommodate large or very small groups. Meeting facilities are also available with full-service amenities.
