We offer a rigorous academic program combined with strong, individualized attention in which your daughter will thrive. Our goal is to produce confident, well-rounded young women who experience success at selective colleges and universities, and who develop into productive leaders of the future. Positive energy abounds at Hewitt. The completion of a beautiful new facility for the Lower School in 2003, and an expanded library and classrooms for the Middle and Upper Schools provide excellent space to accommodate the growing demand for admission. In upper school, Hewitt's solid and challenging academic program includes thirteen Advanced Placement and Honors courses. Our laptop program is unique among Manhattan private schools and encourages the use of hi-tech multimedia skills for our students. In addition, Hewitt teams have scored impressive victories in city, state and regional science and math competitions. Our atheletic program continues to grow and expand. We now are the only all girls' school in Manhattan with a crew team. We placed first and second in the Season Novice Regatta ... not bad for our first year!
