The Fessenden School Revenue and Competitors

Fessenden offers a formal secondary school placement process for our students and parents. As the full-time Placement Director I work closely with families to insure that our students find appropriate secondary school homes where they will continue their educational journey. Each year, nearly 30 secondary school representatives come to Fessenden. I also visit with admissions representatives at many other schools to keep apprised of any curricular, program or facility changes over time. In 2006, Fessenden boys applied to 70 secondary schools. Throughout the process, we maintain strong ties with all 70 admissions offices. The Fessenden Placement Office escorts students and parents through the interview and application process for secondary schools. Fessenden has long standing history of sending well-prepared young men of strong character to some of the finest independent schools in the country. In each of the last five years, 100% of our graduates have been accepted into schools on their list and each year more than 70% are admitted into first choice schools.
