No. Family & Children's Service is a private nonprofit organization that exists because of support from individuals, foundations, corporations, state and county grant awards, and support from the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Our programs and services are free or offered on a sliding-scale fee for our clients. Family & Children's Service is not involved in child support, child protection services or the welfare system. Family & Children's Service is known primarily for its mental health counseling services, offered on the lowest sliding-scale fee in the Twin Cities. We also offer a variety of community, school and family-based programs and services aimed at helping families be the best they can be. What do you accept? Where do I bring them? Yes! Donate online using your Visa, MC, Discover, American Express or paypal account. General office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
