Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Energy Conservatory (TEC) is known worldwide as a leader in the building performance testing industry. Since 1981, our goal has been to provide building professionals with the specialized tools and support needed to create more efficient, affordable and healthy buildings. TEC continues to set the standard for specialized air flow and pressure measuring devices used to monitor and analyze the complex interactions which determine building performance. Our products have a proven track record for reliability, accuracy and versatility. Innovative design and careful engineering have given TEC a reputation for providing the most reliable, accurate and versatile performance testing products on the market today. Over the years we have developed a complete line of airtightness testing equipment including the Minneapolis Blower Door and Duct Blaster® systems. Other innovative TEC products include the TrueFlow Air Handler Flow Meter (used to measure air handler flows) and the DG-700 digital pressure and flow gauge. In addition, the development of easy to use accessories such as our TECTITE and TECBLAST software, pressure pans, video training tapes and sales and marketing aids have made our products the standard of the industry. Currently, over 15,000 of our airtightness testing systems are used by building professionals, researchers and technicians around the world.
