What Is The Concilio?

The Concilio is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that empowers parents and has served North Texas since 1981. The nonprofit offers turn-key programs that improve educational attainment and access to equitable healthcare. The Concilio helps families overcome obstacles and unfavorable conditions that interfere with their health and education. The results-driven organization serves thousands of families each year. For more information, please call (214) 818-0481or visit www.theconcilio.org. Our mission is to build stronger communities by empowering parents to improve the education and health of their families. The Concilio fulfills its mission by addressing two areas, health and education. Today, The Concilio is one of very few organizations in Texas that works to increase parent engagement in their families' education and health. Our Parents Advocating for Student Excellence (PASE) program teaches parents how to positively impact their child’s education by being actively engaged. Healthy Kids, Healthy Families (HKHF) focuses on preventative health, nutrition and wellness, and physical activity.. Both programs serve the North Texas area and are free to everyone.
