The Common Sense Network Revenue and Competitors

We are a Manchester-based bi-partisan news network for millennials, dedicated to finding ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜcommon senseￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ in an increasingly divided and polarised world. We have three aims: 1) to encourage and enable our users to interact with opinions and ideas that differ from their own 2) to lower the barriers to entry for young people into digital news media consumption 3) to create a news network that operates in both an online and offline environment. Using online and offline mediums, we make sure young people can stay connected to one anotherￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢs perspectives and understand political events admits the fast pace of the digital news cycle and whilst algorithms may be exacerbating ideological divides. We are an innovative approach to improving the way young people consume digital news. To date, The Common Sense Network team is comprised of 68 people. The Core team of 6 people is headed up by Founder and CEO Micheal Omoniyi, named 1 of 100 most influential BAME leaders in Tech by The Financial Times in 2018 and other heads of Scribe, Modal and Optic. The core team is diverse, eclectic and expertise range from philosophy to events, tech and Journalism. We have also built a ￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬￋﾜcommon senseￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢ General Advisory Board of industry professionals in tech and journalism whoￃﾢ￢ﾂﾬ￢ﾄﾢs combined experience in media exceeds 80 years. These Include current and ex-senior figures at the BBC, KPMG, The Economist, Buzzfeed and more.
