The Church of the Holy Cross is a community living for Christ in the power of the Spirit. Located in the East Cooper area of Charleston, SC we are an Anglican church with three campuses — Sullivan's Island, Daniel Island and I'On. IDENTITY Holy Cross is a community living for Christ in the power of the Spirit. Our identity is who we are. Philippians 1:21 says: “For me, to live is Christ.” Jesus said, “You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.” Matthew 5:48 (Message) MISSION To make disciples who make disciples of Jesus. God’s plan is for his followers to help others make a transformational journey into Christlikeness. Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20) OUR VISION Our vision guides us. It’s the “how to” of God’s mission for Holy Cross: • Growing disciples through Life Groups. • Strengthening marriages. • Equipping parents to disciple their children. • Reaching beyond ourselves to love and serve others.
