The Athlete's Foot Group Revenue and Competitors

The Athlete's Foot Group is itching to expand. The Georgia-based company sells footwear online and in more than 700 company-owned and franchised stores in about 40 countries. The Athlete's Foot wants to distinguish itself from other footwear retailers by catering to serious athletes. Store employees are specially trained to measure the foot's length, arch, and width to find the right shoe brand and style. The company plans to add another 100 stores (some catering to women) in the US in the next few years. The Athlete's Foot has spread into more than 40 countries worldwide. At the end of 2003, the company's management purchased the company from its former parent, France's Groupe Rallye.
