The Ark Revenue and Competitors

The Ark Church was founded June 2, 1996 by three couples who had developed strong friendships while attending Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.  These couples also shared a dream of having a church in Montgomery County where everyone was welcome and had a chance to connect with God in a real and meaningful way. The atmosphere of The Ark is warm, genuine, and relaxed. The diversity of people represents a true picture of Montgomery County and there is a collective sense of the reality of God and His love. At The Ark, children and youth are a key focus, the senior adults are celebrated, and people from all walks and backgrounds are treated to a message of hope, love, and the goodness of God. Each week hundreds of people volunteer their time to be involved in the various ministries and outreaches.  The prevailing mindset is that if we are going to “do church” together we might as well have a good time doing it! At The Ark there are thousands of us living out a dream of “Connecting people to Christ and equipping them for growth and ministry.”  We invite you to come be a part.
